JUNIOR HIGH RESOURCES
Blackboard Connect -
This is a way for the school to send out important information by phone or email to parents.
Parent Portal –
This is a resource for parents and students to check each of their classes grades through grade speed. Parent Portal will let one check their averages for each class as well as each individual completed or incomplete assignments. If you have not set up Parent Portal, you may call the administration office to acquire access to your child’s grades online.
Teacher Conference –
Email or call the Junior High office to set up a conference with your student’s teacher. To find out a teacher’s email address, go to the Stockdale webpage to the Jr. High Page, then click on contact us on the top left hand side of the page. Also, you may call the Jr. High office at 830-996-3153 to set up an appointment with your child’s teachers.
Study Island –
Study Island is an online resource for students to use with reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies for each TAKS tested area. To access Study Island, students should visit www.studyisland.com. Once at the website, the students will enter their username and password. Each student was assigned a specific username and password.
CSCOPE –
CSCOPE is the currently adopted curriculum for the district. The parent portal link is below:

Texas SUCCESS provides state-funded mathematics and reading online resources for all Texas public school students in grades 3-8. To find out more, go to http://texassuccess.org. Parents may view their students’ progress by visiting the TexasSuccess.org website and clicking on Sign Up under Math or Reading following the directions by clicking on parent. An email will follow with further directions.
Think Through Math (TTM) - TTM is an online math program to help support your student’s learning. Each student has a star card with their individual log in and password. Students may use TTM at school and at home to continue to build their math skills. Login at: http://lms.thinkthroughmath.com.
IStation Reading – Istation is an online reading program to support your student’s learning.
Online Textbook –
Most textbooks have online access for extra help, the book, and/or quizzes. If the book has an online resource, it will usually have the website on the back of the book.
