Dream Makers 2024
Dream Maker: An educator who has had a great influence in the life of a student and inspired, motivated and helped them achieve their dreams and set the course for their future endeavors and successes.
At the annual Stockdale HS scholarship banquet, the Stockdale ISD Education Foundation also celebrated Dream Makers from Stockdale ISD. Each of the top ten students from the SHS class of 2024 selected two educators that made a significant impact in their life to honor.
Number 10, Sydney Wyrwich selected Lorena Martinez (she did not attend elementary in Stockdale). Number 9, Caylynn Johnson selected Jason Cunningham and Rose Steenken. Number 8, Alena Vaughn selected Tanya Eller and Chet Burrier. Number 7, Alex Ayala selected Pat Rutland and Gina Deason. Number 6, Mallorie Fox selected Pat Rutland and Marielle Sekula. Number 5, Mason Soefje selected Rhea Ross and Gina Deason. Number 4, Neida Hernandez selected Venicia Monita and Gina Deason. Number 3, Claire Lynn selected Tracy Clapp and Gina Deason. Number 2, Aylin Garcia-Vasquez selected Pat Rutland and Tracy Clapp. Number 1, Lexi West selected Jason Cunningham and Gina Deason.
The students then shared a brief description of why they chose the educators. The foundation also recognized Legacy Dream Makers of Melvin, Rickey and Susan Neill.
The Stockdale ISD Education is proud to recognize these outstanding educators. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the students and staff of Stockdale ISD.
